BOULDER GUITAR STUDIO
At Boulder Guitar Studio the teaching strategy is for you to enjoy learning and have fun while reaching your goals. I provide a flexible program designed to suit your needs.

Custom lessons are offered for ages 6 through adult. This program accomodates beginner through advanced in a wide variety of styles. I work with you to determine which topics are most closely related to the style(s) you are interested in. In this way we can keep non-related information to a minimum, and maximize the time spent on the techniques and skills you need in order to learn your favorite songs.

Some or all of the following topics can be included in your lesson program, depending on your goals and stylistic interests:

Basic techniques, fundamentals, chord strumming, reading notes and/or tabulature, studying theory, ear training, improvisation, scales, chords, arpeggios, fingerstyle technique, finger exercises, fretboard logic, advanced techniques, etc.and the list goes on. You may only need to work on some of these topics.

Once we get the basics down, students are encouraged to bring in CDs of music they would like to learn. I will teach you the song as well as the theory behind it. You'll understand which techniques make a song sound a certain way, and why. Through my lesson program you will gain the knowledge and skills to continue learning on your own.
